A top tier investment bank has a new opportunity on their Platinum Client Services team, dealing with Settlements, Collateral Management and Client Valuation Reporting across the Rates, Credit, and LCT business units.
Key Responsibilities
- Single point of contact for platinum clients for operational issues cross-product and cross-function.
- Managing the collateral process (this includes handling incoming and outgoing margin calls, agreeing monthly interest), investigating queries and resolving disputes.
- Managing the settlements process, investigating queries and cash management.
- Escalation of all issues and break items.
- Ensure all breaks are kept to a minimum, actively monitor break levels and manage accordingly.
- Interaction with the trading desk, our agent bank, product controllers, documentation teams
- Risk management and control of all processes
- Produce client valuations and liaise with Middle Office and Front Office to resolve any resultant queries.
- Implementing new solutions and processes to add value to the operational service we provide to platinum clients.
- Work closely with Operations Relationship Managers to highlight issues and attend face-to-face client meetings.
Skills/ Experience
- Minimum one year’s OTC Credit and Rates Derivatives product and operational settlement experience, or equivalent.
- OTC Credit and Rate Derivative product knowledge.
- Experience of DTCC and Swapswire confirmation matching system.
- Practiced in all aspects of daily OTC Collateral Management functions.
- Understand the purpose of the ISDA and Credit Support Annex agreements and demonstrates working knowledge.
- Minimum Intermediate skills at Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, Access.
- Possess good communication skills with client-facing experience.
Qualifications
- Degree or three years’ industry experience.
