| A new opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for an ISDA Negotiator in their Securities Division Legal. The role sits with a team of documentation specialists covering OTC master agreements for the sales and trading desks (fixed income, currency, equities and FX).
It involves extensive liaison with people at all levels, outside counsel and counterparts and includes carrying out a range of tasks culminating in the execution of appropriate documentation.
This includes preparing and negotiating OTC derivative master agreements (ISDA, FBF, German Rahmenvertrag), related documentation (credit support agreements, CFD Annexes, Cross Product Master Netting Agreements) and Novation agreements.
You will also be preparing and maintaining files and records relating to all documents, those dispatched and those received from counterparts and conducting the follow-up work for agreement completion and execution.
The position would suit someone with experience and understanding of legal agreements and / or their use in OTC derivative transactions – either from negotiating ISDA documentation and other legal agreements or from a minimum 1 year PQE as a qualified lawyer.
Good communication skills, an enthusiasm and interest in development of documentation skills and using such skills for the completion of negotiation process are a must. Flexibility and willingness to learn and foreign language skills would be advantageous.
