The Control Group of Exchange Traded Derivative Operations performs the control/oversight function within the department.

It is a team of twelve people, responsible for exchange, internal and inter-company reconciliations, ensuring that the department complies with its regulatory responsibilities, processing of margin requirements with external parties and proper calculation of client money fund segregation.

Skills:

- Excellent analytical skills and a thorough approach to problem solving
- Knowledge of Microsoft Excel VBA and macros
- Experience and track record of process improvement identification and implementation
- Involvement in strategic projects that have resulted in improved control for Operations
- Good understanding of processes; inter department dependencies, key risks and controls
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organisation.
- A flexible, proactive, energetic personality who is willing to question and improve the status quo
- A strong team player who is able to work efficiently & effectively under pressure and to deadlines
- Professional approach to all work undertaken and in all dealings with internal/external parties
- Previous experience in a control function within an investment bank preferable
- Knowledge of Exchange Traded Derivative products gained in an Operations environment referable
